6.8.2017

Jim got lots done before I headed out to join him after lunch.  He first put up more scaffolding - one tower in front of the door and added another section on to the existing tower.  You can also see he adjusted the track piece for the overhang down a bit and put up the first two pieces of overhang structure.

He got more pieces cut and primed/painted.  We saved all our cut-off shingle pieces from doing all the other angle areas - we are using almost all of them now!

Using the template to cut out the next rows.  Then I primed/painted the cut pieces.

He's working up the side now on the roof eave.

Putting up shingles...

No...he's not laying down on the job!  He had to lay on the roof while cutting the house wrap and getting things prepped for shingles!

He's getting high enough that he will need to be using roof jacks before long.  We went up to our stash to find planks.  While we were there, we decided to organize all our wood a bit and try to keep it healthier.

Looks much better than the giant pile on the pallets!

After I left, Jim did more steel work and cut more shingles before he went out to cut more grass!
