When Jim was doing some yard work yesterday at the end of the day, he also moved this giant rock!  We discovered this rock when we were digging the trench for the electric power lines from the street.  It's been up by the meter pedestal but needed to be moved eventually because there's more work that needs to be done there for the cable lines.

This area is so prone to washouts so we plan to kind of build it up with mostly rocks (I think we have plenty around!).  Jim flattened out this area and put this rock at the bottom.  Very cool.

Jim spent all morning working on the security light circuit - he said this was probably the hardest one just because of the long path it had to take from one corner of the building to the other.  Jim does things so precise too to make sure there are no twists in the wire at any point so all that takes more care and time.  This run is so long he used an entire spool of wire on it!  But he got the wire to the box!

Running the wire to the box...

Tying all the wire in place...

Jim switched gears mid-afternoon and we worked on insulation.  No easy job with that today either - check out how complicated this ceiling area is to try and get insulated...

Cutting weird shaped pieces...

Putting up the batt...

Stuffing insulation in all of the stud pieces holding up the fan box...

Continuing the kitchen insulation...

More crazy areas to insulate.  Because Jim dropped the ceiling over the banquette area to accommodate light fixtures, all of that steel is in the way when trying to insulate the ceiling!

Working in tight spaces...

Yikes!

At this point, Jim had to go down and bring up another bundle of insulation.  He ended up putting another batt in the hallway before heading down and working on electric again.  He was able to finish that circuit - now he just needs to run power to it.
