4.16.2017

Hope everyone had a very blessed Easter!  Jim and I had a nice day - we walked to church this morning, had a good work day and enjoyed a ham dinner this evening!

Jim did more work on building the stack up again - this time making the wye branch off to start the run, including branching off for the shower drain.

He got the drain figured out for the utility tub too and partially glued it.

Of course, maintenance waits for no one.  The valve stems on the lawn mower wheels dry rotted - Jim took the wheels off and has to take them in to get new valve stems put on.

It was an absolutely gorgeous day so we decided to do a bit of work in the yard.  We really want to get some grass growing on the strip between the two driveways to help halt erosion.  Jim backdragged a bit with the Bobcat to loosen up the dirt.

Of course, that brings lots of rocks to the surface so I got out all the big ones I could.

Then we used up the last of our grass seed.  Definitely have to get more - and try to find some that will work better in our soil.

Raking in the seed...

After I left to start dinner prep, Jim worked on a solution to our bathroom sink.  I still can't believe he did this - he was able to drill a hole that went precisely next to the truss and wall downstairs, without interfering with either!  You can see he had to do some track modification in the bathroom but it looks like our drain will be able to go inside the wall now!  Very exciting!

Check out the size of this turkey compared with Jim's truck - crazy big!
