3.9.2017

Jim started the morning by heading out to the Drywall Center.  He had to pick up some more baffles as well as to talk to his rep about a delivery date for the insulation.  Right now, it's scheduled for Monday.  Our weather is supposed to get very cold this weekend - into single digits - so that should firm up the driveway, which has been kind of mushy.  Hopefully it will be a good day for delivery!

We had really strong, gusty winds for most of the day.  Thankfully, all was well at the property besides a few branches down by the road.

Once he got back to the property, Jim did more framing work.  He spent most of the time working in the bathroom - he got all of the nailers done along all of the walls as well as put the box up for the fan.

Then he did more blocking in the kitchen - these blocks are for the bottom of the cabinets so that he can fasten to the wood.  How exciting is it that we are talking cabinets in the kitchen?

Countersinking the screws into the studs...

And continuing around the corner...

Now that Jim has more baffles, he was able to finish up installing and taping the eave baffles in the living room.

Baffles all in place...

Then he put the baffles in the bathroom and got them all taped down.

He then put the next row of baffles across the living room roof...

High 38/Low 21 - windy!
