Jim spent time today on the phone with the light company about the issue with the lights.  The good news is that there is a retrofit kit that Jim can use to make the new lights use the same bulbs and provide the same high-quality lights as the original lights.  These lights are custom-made and take 6 weeks to arrive, which would cause way too many schedule issues.  Jim will figure out how many lights he wants to retrofit and order those kits as well as the remaining two lights tomorrow.

Meanwhile, he spent time in the wood shop working on getting the lights all ready.  He made the mounting blocks for the lights...

Then installed them - this is the last light in the front bank of lights...

The next light is attached along the back of the shop...

Jim also worked on more blocking in the kitchen...

And even had time to do a little insulation work.  Because of the blocking at the time of the wall, in order to get a good seal, Jim had to put the insulation from the attic space down into the wall cavity.

He put up the first piece of new wall insulation too...
