8.21.2014

It rained quite a bit overnight and the morning was still a little misty, so today turned out to be an errand day.  I went into town and ran errands while Jim did work at home in the morning.  He did go out to the land for awhile to make sure all was well (it was) and cleaned out the back of the truck.

This afternoon, we took at trip in the truck to Lowe's to pick up the wood we need for planks and miscellaneous other projects - like garage door frames!

Once we got back to the land, it was pretty late in the afternoon.  Jim decided to do a little car work.  The big news - he got the back window on the other 4Runner up!  It took some crazy work - he made a jumper to go from the motor of the gray 4Runner to the other one and it powered up the motor and he was able to get the window up.  Thank goodness!  That was becoming stressful - the gray 4Runner is his work car but it is starting to need some attention paid to it.  Jim was getting worried that if it went down, he would be without a vehicle and no place to work on them.

So - a successful day and we'll be back to building tomorrow!
