Jim did some shop work yesterday, including doing some planning of his brackets for the shed in advance of getting his steel order...
We ran some errands in the afternoon and then went to The Local for dinner - always a fun treat!
The temperatures dropped overnight below freezing - we had a freeze alert out which came true. So today was also the first day the heat came on for the season!
Today was supposed to be Jim's steel order - they had said early afternoon. He also got a message that his chainsaw was in and he would be able to pick it up at our local Ace Hardware store in Saratoga. However, when he called, the chainsaw they had came with a different chain. Jim waited all day for someone to call him back to figure out what they were going to do - it was a frustrating call when they did. They are going to have to reorder the one with the right chain, so he'll have to wait a bit more.
Then to top things off, he called the steel company because he hadn't gotten a call about delivery. The guy he's been working with wasn't there today but the guy who answered said that it was listed as a pickup, not delivery. Meanwhile, Jim has the email from the guy saying all was set for delivery today. He'll have to deal with that Monday too.
So unfortunately, he spent more time waiting and being aggravated than getting too much done! Tomorrow is another day!
