3.3.2024

It's always a hard transition, but March is time to put away the winter dishes and go back to having the Depression glassware in the hutch.  But that requires a lot of work on Jim's part to schlep the empty tubs upstairs for me to fill them, then take the full ones back down and store them on the rack, and then bring up all the Depression glass.  These are just a few of the winter tubs and boxes in that process...

But while the hutch was empty before he brings up the other dishes, it was a good time to finish the moulding behind it.  Everything was done except for the caulking and painting, so Jim moved the hutch out and started taping.

Then caulking...  Tomorrow he'll paint this and move the hutch back in place and ready for the next load of dishes!

After all that work (so many trips up and down two flights of stairs carrying heavy tubs!), Jim put a coat of primer on the door frame molding...

Continuing to prime...
