6.17.2022

Mom had an eye doctor follow-up appointment today and we had to do go order new lenses afterwards.  Jim spent the morning first trying to get resolution on the Lowe's delivery (still hasn't happened) and then setting up all the tools and equipment to make concrete.

After lunch, we got started.  First the concrete mix goes in the pumpkin...

Then the water...

It took 6 bags all together and 2 batches in the pumpkin...

First batch done and dumping into the mortar box...

Next batch underway...

Dumping into the box...

Jim switched to the forks on the Bobcat to carry the mortar box over to the site...

Starting to place the concrete into the holes - he needs about 12" of concrete in each...

Tamping down the concrete in the second hole...

Carrying shovelsful of concrete over to fill the last two holes...

All done except for the cleaning!

Once the cleaning was done, Jim had to put the pallet of concrete back into the pole barn and put all the tools and equipment away.  A successful day!

High 79.1/Low 49 - gorgeous!
