Jim continued working on the final coats of plaster on this wall section in the wood shop...

He had a little plaster left over so worked on plastering over the corner beads...
In the afternoon, it was time to tackle the upper area in the auto bay. First piece up...
After we cut and marked the pieces, Jim put them up on the scaffolding.  I just helped support one side of the drywall while he got some screws in so not too many pictures of the process!
Continuing down the wall...
This piece was more difficult because of the air compressor hose line that goes into the wood shop.  It was going to be difficult to disconnect everything, so Jim used his hole saw to cut the hole for the conduit, and then cut the piece in half through the hole...
Then he was able to put the next piece up without having to disconnect anything.  We joked that his taper wasn't going to be happy with another seam to tape but it was definitely the best way to proceed.  Of course, there wasn't enough room for me to help hold anything so Jim had to hold the piece up and fasten it with his left hand all while straddling the scaffolding.
The last piece he had to put up using his ladder next to the air compressor while I supported the end from the scaffolding.  Once he had a few fasteners in, he was able to get everything fastened down.
Jim just started putting on the first piece of J-channel at the bottom of this wall to see how it would go.  He left the bottom halves of the drywall unfastened so that he could more easily get the channel in place.
Jim also cut and fastened this crazy piece around the beam - plus he put insulation behind this area around the beam.

A picture of the end result - looks fabulous!  All of the drywall is now in place in the auto bay (and Jim is starting to dream of car lifts!)
High 74/Low 60 - beautiful!
