7.8.2020

Jim had called the gas supplier yesterday to get a top off while the prices were still pretty good.  They showed up early this morning.  We got almost 200 gallons of propane so we're set until we can get it topped off again in late fall.

Jim and I both had haircut appointments this morning too so it was kind of a different start to the day. The forecast was for rain in the afternoon so Jim wanted to continue digging the rock wall base while it was nice out.  He found a place in the woods to put the dirt for now until we need it.

Just about done - Jim got this portion dug and the dirt moved away and then it started raining.

So then he moved into wood shop work, starting to make the panel for this cabinet door...

Doing all the millwork on the back of the panel...

Trying it out...

Then putting a coat of primer on one side...

Then the other...

Jim wanted to replace the lights on the stairwell overhang - bugs have a tendency to find passageways in the open units.  He found this sealed unit (on the left) and got that installed.  We have to order another one now that we know it works.

Check out that pretty sky - we got a nice rain for about 2 hours that we really needed and then it was back to sunny blue skies!
High 84/Low 65 - little PM rain
