Jim worked on the back of the cabinet today, getting it sanded and ready for finishing...

He's got lots of pretty striped maple gluing for shelves...

A glued piece and newly cut pieces...

A coat of polyurethane and lots of cabinet pieces...

A coat of gray on the face frame...

In the afternoon, I pulled off all the terrible tape on the sections we hadn't caulked yet and replaced it with the tape we got at Lowe's last night...

Then Jim started caulking...

Leveling it off...

And pulling the tape off - cleanly!  That's the way it is supposed to work!  We need to get more caulk to finish a little more.  They didn't have it at Lowe's last night so I'll check Home Depot when I do some errands tomorrow.

We got some very much needed rain yesterday in the evening and early this morning, so Jim was able to get some grass cut without causing a dust storm!  It was such a beautiful day with less heat and more beautiful blue skies.
High 77/Low 53 - beautiful!
