6.23.2020

This is what happens when you can't get to the recycling center during a pandemic!  We loaded up the car this morning and turned in 510 cans - no judging please!  We then headed to our appointment to drop off some miscellaneous tools and building materials to the Habitat ReStore.

Once we got home, Jim got busy in the wood shop.  Trimming the Formica from the shelves...

All done...

Then he got a coat of primer on the front of the face frame...

Doing the millwork on the sides of the cabinet pieces for the fixed shelves.  First, making the edge cuts...

Then switching to his dado blades in his table saw...

And making the cuts...

That millwork is all done...

Time for a coat of polyurethane...

After he did the polyurethane, he headed down into the metal shop to start attaching the PVC pieces around the edges of the shop.  He moved his saw outside to cut...

Predrilling the holes..

Then attaching.  You can see that we had a little rain late this afternoon while Jim was cutting outside!

Making progress and moving to the other bay...

We knocked off a little early and headed into Lowe's to pick up a few things.
