2.18.2020

I love these holidays that make it feel celebratory to do the things you would do anyway!  So a toast to all of you - hope you're drinking a glass of wine while you catch up with the latest goings on in our world!

Jim spent part of the morning attending to some shop organization. With all the new knobs and glides that he just ordered, he needed to get things organized and some things set aside for donation to Habitat ReStore.

On the cabinetmaking front, he got the drawer bottoms and edges sanded...

Then a coat of gray on the drawer fronts.  He sprays the fronts so then it's another hour of cleaning.

He lightly sanded the drawer assemblies and then put their final coat of polyurethane on.

He also got a coat of polyurethane on the drawer bottoms...

Ours was a snowy world today so when the work day was done, a perfect time to sit down with a glass of wine!  We were forecast to get 1-3" but they said parts of the area could get up to 7".  Guess which part we were in?  Yep, we got about 7" of new snow.  Jim had to spend time at the end of the day plowing the driveway.

High 34/Low 26 - 7" of new snow
