7.15.2019

In preparation for the new soffit pieces on the overhang, there was an opening for a short while.  Unfortunately, it doesn't take long for animals to find an opening.  We just discovered a squirrel found that opening before Jim got it covered again.  However, the squirrel apparently liked its new home - enough to eat the soffit next to the former opening to get back in!  This just happened overnight!  So frustrating!

Jim put a thicker piece of temporary plywood on top of the eaten soffit to see what happens next.  Darn squirrels!

Jim continued his truck work today - taking more of the panels off...

All the panels are off including all the hardware on the top of the truck.  Now Jim will start investigating replacement options.

He gave the truck an oil change...

And power sprayed the engine compartment...

He also decided to modify the pallet that he put the pumpkin on - he put a support piece on it and added wheels.

Now he can just push it around when he needs to move it!

At the very end of the day, Jim decided to do some trimming.  However, he couldn't get the trimmer to start.  He finally discovered that the primer bulb had a leak - so yet more parts to be ordered and more things to fix.  However, this trimmer is probably 20 years old too so can't complain.  But still - yet another project!
