Jim put up the last piece of drywall on the stairwell wall in the metal shop and finished it off with the J-channel.

However, he spent way too much time this morning working on the medicine cabinet.  If you remember, this medicine cabinet has been the source of lots of work in the past.  Jim had this wall framed originally and then had to move the studs to accommodate the blocking for the pedestal sink once we decided on that.  Then, I found a medicine cabinet I really liked.  That required Jim moving studs and figuring out placement yet again!  At that time, he used the measurement specifics that were online for the medicine cabinet because it had to be special ordered.  So, fast forward to all the work being done in that area - insulation, drywall, final painting!   Jim pulled the medicine cabinet out of the box to hang it up - and it doesn't fit!  The actual inner part of the cabinet is the exact measurement that Jim used - however, there is this side piece that extends over the cabinet.

As you can see, the space for the cabinet is totally surrounded by steel - the only way to change it would be to rip out part of the drywall!  Not a good option!  Finding another medicine cabinet that would fit these exact dimensions would be impossible too.  So...Jim is going to try and do some surgery on the steel side piece and see if he can make it fit.  Sometimes the things that should be so simple just aren't!

But while you are looking at this picture, you can see that Jim put the light fixture up as well as put all the faceplates back on the receptacles and light/fan switch.

Jim got one of the side flange pieces all attached to the shower base...

In the kitchen, Jim put up the light fixture over the sink so that we could better admire how good the paint looks - we are really happy with the color and the way it looks.

So Jim started working on painting more, beginning with more trim work...

The valleys look awesome painted!

Starting on the hallway area between the two bedrooms...
