Jim did some work this morning on more blocking for the bedroom/closet wall and put the top track on.
Next was the bottom track...
Then the first stud!
More studs... Again, we put as many studs here as we could - Jim needs to order more long pieces to finish this wall.
Jim then had to figure out how he wanted to do the top part of the wall. He decided to add studs to the bottom of the studs already flat on the wall to extend it to the ceiling level.
This is a better view...after adding the extra stud, he then put on a piece of track at the bottom. He will later use that to attach the bottom wall track.
He made clip angles to attach the bedroom wall to the top of the rafters - now everything is secure.
He needed to make sure that wall was secure because he needed to lean his extension ladder on the wall to continue placing studs on this upper wall section.
Another day of lots of accomplishments on a frigid day!
