Jim got out again yesterday - we stopped at the local hardware store to see about ordering some of the chainsaw parts he needs. Then we went to see my mom and then to church in person for the first time since before his surgery.
Jim was doing more taking apart and cleaning up of the chainsaw this afternoon...
The degreaser that he bought is working great for cleaning up these parts. He sprays, lets it sit, and hoses it off...
We walked up to the shed this afternoon and Jim started cleaning out the joint between the concrete and the sill...
The expansion foam he put down comes apart, leaving some below but the top part comes off cleanly...
Continuing to clean the joint and remove the top section of foam...
He got it all out - he's going to let it dry out a bit after the rain yesterday. Then the next step will be to fill it with self-leveling caulk.
