On Wednesday night, we got the surprise of our lives when we got a text from Jim's sister, Cindy, that they were 20 minutes away! She, Bryan, and Jim's brother, John, decided to surprise us with a trip to visit and they sure did! Bryan was at the property when we first started building, but no one had seen it since then. We got a pizza and caught up before they headed back to their hotel.
They came back the next day and after some muffins and conversation in the morning, we headed to Lake George to show them that area. We were so shocked because it was registration night for the Adirondack Nationals, which is apparently the largest car show on the East Coast. We had fun just watching a parade of cars coming into the area - people were just lining the streets.

They headed back to Ohio from their hotel this morning, so it was back to normal life for Jim and I. I went to see my mom and do some grocery shopping. In the afternoon, Jim was back working on the chainsaw. He sprayed it with degreaser and got it looking pretty! He's making a list of parts he needs to order...
