11.1.2023

I guess it was only fitting that on the 1st day of November, we had our very first snowflakes of the season.  You'll have to look closely to see them - they whirled around a few times during the morning.

Jim did computer work in the morning and then brought the chipper into the auto bay to do some work on it, now that my car is done.

He brought wood into the shop from the pole barn and started getting ready for purlins.

But his main goal today was to clean the furnace system.  With all his valves, he is able to isolate different parts of the system and run a cleaning agent through.  He bought a special pump for this job and got all the hoses set up.  Once he got the first section clean into the furnace, he is running the fluid through the rest of the system now...

A little earlier end to the day - Jim squeezed in a shorter run and then came up to get ready for Holy Day services.

High 41.9/Low 32.7 - first snowflakes!
