Mom and I had to head out early this morning for her appointment with the retina specialist. Thankfully, it was all good news and things are stable. Afterwards, we headed back into Saratoga to do some errands, including stopping at the tile store. We have decided that we want a porcelain tile behind the stove in a contrasting pattern. The tile store is pretty overwhelming, but I brought home 5 different options, along with the ones that we bought at Home Depot and Lowe's. We narrowed all of them down to the final two...
And this was the winner! So Jim will figure out exactly how much we need and we'll get it ordered.
Jim had to do more work on his build and replace cost estimate for the drop box today - so much time and effort. In the shop, he glued more wood together for the backs of the benches...

This bench frame is all fabricated - spars welded on, pilot holes drilled. We'll probably take it up to the wood shop tomorrow. I picked up paint today so that Jim can put a coat of paint on them.
