5.2.2020

Jim tweaked all the panels to make sure everything fits perfectly into the frames, then put a coat of primer on the maple pieces that will be on the outside cabinet...

The outside of the other sides won't be seen and Jim always uses polyurethane on the insides, so he was able to assemble and glue together those two side pieces.  Then he'll be able to do the millwork and just spray them with polyurethane.

When the day looked like this and it was in the low 60s, we had to spend the afternoon outside!

After Jim had done some more cleaning and investigating on the chipper yesterday, we weren't sure what to expect from it but decided to give it a go.  It worked fabulously!  We started on the area in the back of the house where we had dragged branches after cutting the trees down.

Finishing up in this area...

Then we moved back to the areas at the edge of the woods and started on those piles...

All done!  Looks so good and all those baby pine trees really pop now!

Since the chipper was working so well, we headed down to the end of the driveway to work on the piles we just stacked down there.  Finishing up on one side of the driveway...

Then we moved to the other side to work on the last pile...

All cleaned up!  Everything looks really good and we're thrilled that the chipper worked so well.

High 66/Low 49 - beautiful!
