10.15.2025

Jim's steel delivery came this morning.  Of course, they were supposed to call but didn't.  Thankfully, the guy stayed off the cement driveway.  They just unloaded from there and then Jim carried the steel up.

Sixty feet of angle ready to be transformed into Jim's brackets for the shed as well as a start on some shelving units...

Jim cleaned up the areas around the trees this afternoon, removing rocks we pulled out.  Then he went up to our top soil pile and got a bucket of dirt to fill in around the trees...

We had some divine intervention too.  A branch broke on one of the trees when we moved it, so Jim thought he would try grafting again since it worked so well on our oak tree.  He went into the woods behind the carriage house to find a small branch and when he was coming out, he noticed that the red light was on the generator.  After some investigation, it hadn't been able to start the last two test cycles.  Jim brought out the battery charger and got it charged...

It's charged and the green light is on, so we're good to go, but Jim will start investigating a new battery for the generator and his 4Runner.
