Jim had a morning appointment to get the MINI inspected; he got that done, so it's good until next year.
It was an on/off drizzly kind of day, so Jim wasn't sure he would be able to get outside to work on the roof at all. But things stopped enough that he was able to get out and get more shingles on and another roof jack up...
He was able to get all that done with the shingles we had left over, so it was a big money saver! Time to open the new block of shingles...

Jim got things put away, stashed the shear in the pole barn, and then headed to Lowe's to pick up some more 2"x6" boards to use on the roof jacks, because he doesn't have enough ones that he trusts to use up on the roof!
