Words to live by from Martin Luther King, Jr.

Jim started the day off by visiting our local garage for an appointment to get my car inspected for the year.  They have a new statewide process this year, where the garages print out stickers rather than have to buy them ahead of time.  We ran into lots of issues that way, so this worked great.  My car passed with flying colors and Jim made an appointment to get the 4Runner inspected on Thursday.

Mom had an appointment with the retina specialist this afternoon.  It was very fortuitous because he found a recent retinal bleed since her appointment at the ophthalmologist just about 3 weeks ago.  She did have to have an injection and will go back for probably 2 more, but we're grateful they found it and hopefully can stop it.  We did stop at the grocery store while we were out.

Jim had been busy while we were gone - he got more wood prepped and in the gluing process.

He got the cage moved over onto some cardboard and plastic so the floor will be protected when he paints.

Doing some sanding...

He also continued working on his vacuum remote - he re-soldered a connection on the circuit board today.  It works now!  He's not sure how long it will last but he's trying to avoid spending so much money for a replacement.
