7.16.2015

We did some more rearranging today - took the brake out of the ground floor, put it on a pallet and carried it up on the Bobcat where we put it up on the deck where Jim will be using it.

Jim called the crane rental company this morning and set up a crane for Monday.  Hopefully the landlord can help then.  That gives us more time to get ready without rushing.  Jim continued his work on the nailers.  He came up with a slightly easier solution - he drills a hole through the wood first and then can use his driver to go through the steel.  Two processes but not as tough and the screw doesn't get clogged up going through the wood.  At the end of the day, he has 6 nailers in place.  He'll have to go back at some point and put more screws in, but getting them secure and in place is key and all we need to get them up.

Jim would like to get the auto lift concrete pad poured next week too so he did a little more work on the framing while he was giving his wrists a break from the heavy truss work.

Frame is just about done - just needs a little tweaking!
