Well...that old Punxsutawney Phil was right about the winter this year! This is a great year for us to have a bad winter - we don't have to worry about getting out and driving in it unless we want to, don't have to shovel or plow it - we can just enjoy it!
Today, our landlord has a backhoe here at the apartment getting rid of all the snow that has been piled up next to the building after clearing the parking lot. So far, he's on his 6th dump truck full of snow!
As we were heading out for our walk, the landlord said they had taken 10 dump truck loads of snow! They also took some from the front of the apartment but that's a lot of snow that was piled up. And look how much is still left!
This was probably one of our coldest walks - when we got home, Jim checked and the wind chill was 2 degrees. But we dress warm and are now all thawed out!
